img_4345

Book Traveling Thursdays is a weekly post hosted by Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog and Cátia @ The Girl Who Read Too Much. Each week we’re given a new topic, we pick a book related to that topic and post the original cover, the cover from your country, your favourite and your least favourite cover. If you’d like to get involved, everything you need to know is here!

This week the theme is, new beginnings… Choose a book you’d like to read for the first time again. I think if it was possible, every single one of us would have at least one book we’d like to forget we’d read, just so we can read it again not knowing what will happen! Hell, I have so many! This though, is the one I’d love to forget most…

This weeks topic is, 2017 goals. I have some goals I’m looking to set this year in regards to reading/blogging, being more consistent with my posts and trying to fit in much more reading time etc. I also have a few personal goals set for the year, but I don’t tend to set myself many goals, I like to have a few that I know I can keep on top of, rather than loads and not being able to hit them all! So let’s take a look at my goals for 2017.

If you’d like to get involved, everything you need to know is here!

This week the theme is, it’s almost the end of the year, choose one of your favourite books of 2016! This year, I’ve read 88 books so far, my reading challenge was 150 and I’m so mad at the reading slump I was in for what felt like forever, but there’s still time dammit! Although there’s no way I’m going to read 62 books in the next two weeks, a girl can dream, right? Right? Lets have a look at one of my favourite books I read in 2016, before I cry about my failed reading challenge attempt 😛

This weeks Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish is, top ten books I’m looking forward to for the first half of 2017. There are so, so many books I’m looking forward to in 2017, which I’m sure is the same for all of us book dragons! I’m only doing 5 on this post though, as I have an upcoming 2017 post which features all the books being released in 2017 that I am super excited for, so this is more like a sneak peak.

This week the theme is, some books make us cry… Choose a book that made you emotional! For some reason, when it comes to reading (and getting emotional while reading) I have a heart of stone. Sort of. Well, okay not really a heart of stone at all, I just don’t think I read the right books to bring on the rivers of tears. There’s plenty of books that have made me emotional though, but there is only one book that has made me cry. Ever. (So far).

Top Ten Tuesday: New-To-Me Authors I Read For The First Time In 2016

Happy December everyone!

This weeks Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish is, New-to-me authors I read for the first time in 2016. Believe it or not, my love for reading only started at the beginning of 2015, my wonderful boyfriend bought me a Kindle for my birthday (my sister had one and said it was fantastic), plus I wanted to start reading and I’m so glad I did because I love it. So I’m always stumbling across new authors I’ve never read being so new to the bookish community, here’s a list of new-to-me authors of 2016 and the book of theirs I read, that really stick out for me.

Top Ten Tuesday: Movie Freebie!

img_4341

This weeks Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, is a Movie Freebie! For me picking a favourite film is a little like picking a favourite book, it’s pretty impossible. I feel like my list of favourite movies changes all the time! Also, depending what kind of mood I’m in, sometimes I don’t want to watch an action film even though I love it, I want a rom com or a Disney film,  y’know? So here’s a bunch of movies (not in any order btw) I love and think you should definitely watch if you haven’t already!

Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Books I’ve Added To My TBR Recently.

This weeks Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, is Ten Books I’ve Added To My To-Be-Read List Lately. Being a Goodreads member has made this one easy, I’m just going to take the ten most recent books I’ve added to my TBR list on Goodreads! Also, if you wanna be friends on Goodreads, you can add me here!

I’m going to do this one as kind of a count down, so the first one on this list will be the 10th most recent book I’ve added to my TBR. Meaning the 10th book featured on this list will be the last book I added to my TBR! I hope that makes sense guys! Here goes 🙂
